dead end road

School’s almost out for Summer!!! I am not sure about your house but at our house we are soooo ready for relief and reprieve.

Some day’s it does feel like my feet are on backwards. It feels like I’m trying to forge ahead on the path of life but with every step comes struggle.

The butterfly struggled. Right before she came out of her cocoon she watched everything from the darkest space of her life.

And then, she evolved.

Life lessons are sent to test our capabilities. With each challenge conquered, we become stronger. Wisdom becomes our best friend. Our beauty begins to unfold as we become master of the prism of darks and lights within our mind’s eye.

Evolve forward. Walk towards light on the horizon each day.

teeny tiny masks we wear

i wrote this a couple years ago about a teenager i know. back then I was talking about figurative masks we wear. now it has even more meaning as we have added actual physical masks.

anxieties are real! make sure to hop off electronics today and practice some positive self care today!

today’s mantra: i accept me as i am.

i wonder oh i wonder

one day at work an upset woman came in to the office. she was distraught and agitated.

she said, “i just need somebody to SEE me.”

i looked her in the eyes and told her, “ i see you. i am here for you.”

some days we get bogged down in the events of the day. sometime life gets hard.

and, that’s life.

sometimes there is no better answer for the struggle and the hard challenges we face. we are learning on our journey how to evolve into stronger, more beautiful souls.

life takes us on wild adventures! are you ready for a wild ride???! buckle up. you just never know where you may land when you aim for rainbows…

i wonder. oh how i wonder…

has this whole quarantining thing caused your hermit-like tendencies to grow by leaps and bounds??!

mine too.

i have to remind myself that being social is healthy!!! hoomans = not the enemy. hoomans = connection. connection = life energy.

friend time makes us happy. when we reach out to text or…gulp…call a friend, a rush of happy endorphins fill my insides when they text back or…gulp…answer my call.

connection is our power.

Mr. Claudius lives in Unicornlandia aka The Unicorn City. He is the mayor of the town. The town was formed in 2020…the year when everything and everyone went crazy.
